Business Development Manager/Architect | Reynaers South Africa - March 2018

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager, with architectural (or similar) experience. This new team member will be responsible for promoting brand expansion throughout Southern Africa and also give technical assistance to lead architects in the development of new projects. He/she will also be in charge of managing organisational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with architectural firms to best understand their project requirements and how they relate to our products and services
  • Giving technical support and providing solutions for new architectural projects
  • Managing organisational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
  • Setting and meeting planned sales goals
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation for effective digital communication via Newsletters and Social Media
  • Promoting our organisation, our products and mission

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a degree in architecture (or similar field) is required
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience managing and directing a sales team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Previous experience in a sales or construction related role is a plus
